Connection and Operation

Connect the UHD signal source to the HDMI input of the video capture with one HDMI cable

Connect the computer to the USB port of the video capture with USB cable.

Operation steps for USB video capture(OBS):

1. Add new sources, choose “Video Capture Device”

2. Set the size of the image.

3. Choose “Studio Mode” (double window)

4. Click “Start Recording”

Answer: Yes, it can record gameplay and stream from a Nintendo Switch to a computer, through software such as OBS. It records sound too.

Answer: Any laptop with USB should work on.
Question: Can I record my gaming from an XBox 1?

Answer: Indeed it does. It may require you to look at your sound settings and settings in the software you are recording it to, but I have been able to capture audio and video with this device.
